Some of my earliest memories are wrapped in the morning mist of the East Tennessee mountains. Growing up, camping wasn't just a weekend hobby it was a rite of passage passed down by my father, grandfather and shared with friends. Through rugged Appalachian hikes on Holston Mountain, Boy Scout weekend treks, and tracking down remote mountain streams to fish with a close friend, the wilderness became my second home. Those early days taught me a fundamental truth that shaped my entire life: the most profound moments happen when you simply choose to get out there.
